After our visit to the waterfall in Jajce, we head to our new attraction, which is the AVNOJ museum, the birthplace of communist Yugoslavia, the place where the partisans led by Marshal Tito organized a summit on the future of the new Yugoslavia after the end of World War II, and the new constitution was approved.

Not far from the Jajce, after a 20-minute drive, we are heading towards our new location, which is the two beautiful Pliva Lakes. Before reaching the main beach, we will first stop at the beautiful “Mlinčići” mills, which are another tourist attraction that we must not miss. 4 centuries old still resist time and are witnesses of the very interesting history of these areas, during the Austro-Hungarian rule in these areas, the mills were a tourist symbol of Bosnia, where the photo of this miracle was also on the postage stamps of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
After our visit to Mlinčići, we head towards the large Pliva Lake, a tourist attraction that is widely known and visited by people from all over Europe who want to enjoy untouched nature. The lake is also popular among the local population, so we will see a large number of private apartments.
After arriving at the lake and taking a leisurely walk along the coast, we head to the restaurant where we will organize lunch, the food offer is wide, and of course, we also have an offer for our vegetarians.
After lunch, with a full stomach, we continue our journey from Sarajevo to Zagreb, but there is one more location on our way that we will visit, which is the Jasenovac concentration camp.
After Pliva Lakes and the city of Jajce, we head towards Zagreb on our way, the last location on this tour that we will visit is the Jasenovac Concentration Camp, also known as the Balkan Auschwitz, this infamous extermination camp was founded by the independent state of Croatia and the Ustasha who ruled this region during the WWII with their leader Anto Pavelić who was a close ally of Nazi Germany and Adolf Hitler.
This camp was a place of detention and forced labor for Serbs, Jews, and all other peoples who were against the fascist ideology that ruled during WWII.
This terrible place is a reminder of what can happen if hatred, and racial and ethnic intolerance reign, and today it is a symbol of remembering all the victims of WWII.
Considering our very large content and the multitude of locations we have to visit, we note that very often we are not able to enter the museum of the Jasenovac Concentration Camp, the reason being that the opening hours are until 4 pm, but the open part of the museum is available to us as well as the main monument that we will visit which is more than enough.
